WELCOME TO SHERWOOD SOUTH ANIMAL HOSPITAL Sherwood South Animal Hospital opened for business in 1975 when Dr. O. C. “Bob” Granzin relocated his practice from downtown Baton Rouge to South Sherwood Forest Boulevard. In 1979 Dr. Alfred Stevens joined the practice as a recent graduate from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. What began as a 3400 sq. foot facility with three employees has since been rebuilt and redesigned to the current state-of-the-art 12000 sq. foot facility with over 50 employees.
