As a licensed Real Estate Broker for over 25 years my husband and I became interested in Surprise AZ after visiting our friends here over the past 10 years. Originally from the Pacific Northwest my husband Don Tuttle a retired Army veteran found the Arizona climate helped ease some of his aches and pains so we made the move and havent looked back since! There is literally so much to do out here! From local bands and live entertainment to some of the best restaurants in the country my husband and I have enjoyed it all! Truly nothing beats this weather! Sure there are a few hot months but that is why they invented air conditioning! When it gets too hot a quick drive 2 hours north to Flagstaff and you are in the beautiful ponderosa pine trees enjoying the crisp mountain air! Better yet lets hit the lake! Phoenix has 6 area lakes to serve the community along with the Salt River and Gila River recreation areas all within a hour or so drive! There you can enjoy a bit of hiking mountain biking swimming boating kayaking and more! This is literally an adult play land!
