Founded in 1985 1-800-THE-LAW2 was established from the realization that the “language of the law” can seem foreign and intimidating to both non-English and English speakers — after all there is a lack of awareness around one's legal rights in America. Further we understood how concerns over the potential cost of legal action posed an obstacle to getting help. 1-800-THE-LAW2 was established as a response to this challenge. Our network is comprised of experienced attorneys who are just as committed to bridging this advocacy gap. Our goal is to ensure that everyone is able to access high-quality legal representation — regardless of income nationality or native language.
